Rates & Policies

The following policy outline is intended to bring the COMPANY-CUSTOMER relationship to a more common understanding.  It will outline the responsibilities of each party under any implied or expressed rental agreement. 

The following rates and policies are as follows:

1. Day Rates

   1. Rates are given on a per job basis

   2. Fuel & lube will be provided by customer

   3. Three day minimum on all day rates

   4. All day rates will be prorated on a 24 hr. basis

2. Hourly Rates

   1. Hourly rates are given on a per job basis

   2. Fuel & lube will be provided by Triple S Marine

   3. Two hour minimum on all jobs

3. Lump-Sum Bids

   1. Lump-sum bids are provided at customer request.  A lump-sum bid is a fixed price for moving cargo from point A to point B plus all applicable taxes.

4. Barges

   1. All barges are rented on a day rate.

   2. Barge rates are not pro-rated.

   3. The customer is responsible for paying for all damages incurred to the barge while on rent.

   4. The customer is responsible for all On-Charter and Off-Charter surveys related to the rental of the barges.

5. Applicable Taxes

   1. Taxes will be charged on all barge rentals as required by law

   2. ICW tax will be charged when required by law

6. Terms of Payment

   1. Standard terms are net 30 days

   2. Litigation charges for the collection of delinquent accounts will be charged to the customer.

7. Start and Stop Times

   1. The start time for all vessels will start when the vessels leave their base dock.

   2. The stop time for all vessels will not end until the vessel has reached its home base.
